This listing offers a charming pair of antique Currier & Ives "Little Sister" and "Little Brother" lithographs. The artwork was professionally framed many years ago. Note: the frames are complimentary but not true antiques. Sister has owned this pair for decades and was sure the prints were old and original. However, we disassembled the "Little Sister" frame to confirm this fact as well as offer better pictures and a complete description. The prints are definitely old and ...original. They are hand colored with charcoal highlights and have amazing color and detail (see pictures). Framed measurements are 17"X13-1/2". Unframed, the prints measure 13"x9-1/2". Note: these deep-set frames do have a few light scuffs (see pictures) but are in, otherwise, excellent and solid condition.
