This listing features a lot of two (2) well polished and highly agatized petrified fossil wood specimens originating from Cherry Creek, Nevada near Ely and an Owyhee Mountains specimen originating from Eastern Oregon! Together the two specimens weigh 16.7 ounces (1 pound 0.7 ounces). The exceptional red, pink, black, white and yellow agatized petrified wood plank cut and polished Cherry Creek, Nevada display specimen shows great depth in well preserved growth structure. It weighs 9.4 ounces and ...measures 81mm by 52mm by 66mm. The Owyhee fossil wood specimen has one well polished face as shown in the first photograph and has been cut on two perpendicular planes that also show beautiful coloration and growth structure and should also be polished. This gem originates in Malheur County, Oregon in the Owyhee Mountains and has excellent bark structure and detail as well. The Oregon Agate Fossil Wood specimen is 7.3 ounces and measures 52mm by 57mm by 49mm. All photographs were taken while the specimens were dry. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as the specimens can be packaged in a manner that will minimize the potential for damage.
