This is a Lovely Refurbished Don 3/4 Bent Egg Made in Denmark, a Chunky pipe with a 9mm Filter Stem stamped Bari. There was slight doubt/controversy about whether Bari made Don, this Don stamped briar and Bari stamped stem would seem to confirm the link. I gav...e a potted history of Bari on the earlier listed Bari De Luxe. The briar of this Egg is a mid brown colour with well defined soft mixed graining, the bowl rim is crisp and un-marked, the stem as already described, a saddle, Bari stamped and with the lightest of tooth chatter. The bowl was reamed and cleansed, the stem was fully sanitized to make the pipe ready to smoke as soon as you receive it, before the whole pipe was lightly polished and waxed to give the lovely finish you can see in the photos. The pipe draws and will smoke perfectly, it sits snugly in the hand, balanced and tactile.
