For your consideration is a small hand turned butter churn. This butter churn is dirty white with two blue stripes around it. I can remember my mother having one like it when I was a teenager. All she could remember was that she bought it from a dealer at a flea market we ran from 1973-1975. I filled it with tap water, to the ledge the lid sets on and it held almost 1 1/2 pints. The jar is 6" tall, the bottom has a diameter of 3 1/2" and the lid has a diameter o...f 3". This churn has probably only been displayed. On the bottom edge, is an imperfection, that I will claim is a chip, but it is very possible that it is a manufacturing error. At the top rim are two very tight hairlines; both come down diagonally for less than 1/2 of one inch; neither is visible on the interior. Also, where the churn is most narrow, is a drying line that is 4" long. Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description. Local pickup is encouraged.
