A Chinese blue and white porcelain vase, decorated with a scene of two people meeting on a stone bridge - they are each carrying something. There are trees, rocks, mountains, and things in the water which could perhaps be depictions of water lilies. There is a border pattern design above and below the main scene with diaper work, and another extension of the main design around the top section. We were donated a similar vase at the same time, but they are not a pair so... we have listed them separately (this vase is slightly larger than the other one we have listed). The vase is marked on the base with a four character reign mark in blue - in the Kangxi style but we feel is probably a late 19th century vase. Measures 18 1/2 cm tall.
