Bunny Yeager 1960 Camera Pin - Up Negative Pretty Figure Model Bonnie Carroll Fab
Item History & Price
The true “island maiden” of our dreams, Nani Maka started as a trained Hawaiian hula dancer in Wailuku and performer at an early age. She became one of the first Mystery Girls at the Mai-Kai, until someone told them she was under 21 and she lost that job. She performed as lead dancer at the Yankee Clipper’s Polynesian Room and other Florida venues with Kui Lee and many greats. She was a model for Bunny Yeager. She starred in the B-movie “Pagan Island” and was the embodiment of the “naive native beauty.” She also appeared in the Frank Sinatra film “A Hole In The Head.”
