Antique Beveled Glass Barber SHAVING MIRROR Wall Mount SCISSOR ACCORDION Vintage
Item History & Price
A great vintage Barbershop look!
The metal and glass in good solid shape, NO cracks, breaks, or chips to glass, no bends or breaks to metal. The extension mechanism works well and smoothly.
The finishes show signs of age: the metal... is pitted overall and there is very little nickel plate left on the metal, as visible in photos.
The mirror silver is discolored, rippled in one area and "burned out" in another (photos 1 and 4).
The "pin" that holds the mirror onto the arm (photos 5 and 10) seems to have been replaced
long ago with a flat head screw - it works fine but I doubt this screw is original.
In the early 1970s I packed this mirror up at my great-grandmothers house. It has been in a box since then.Again, the screw that is in the back is probably NOT original to the piece, but it is the one that has always been there.
Please look carefully at all twelve photos for details.
