Beautiful Antique Vintage Art Deco Bohemian Czech Fiery Opal Glass Cabochon Diamond Paste Rhinestone Necklace on Sterling Silver Chain. Romantic. Wedding Bridal. Party Ball. Special Occasion. Red Carpet Event.
Circa 1920's or a little earlier
Perfect for ANY Special Occasion.
A beautiful and romantic, antique Art Deco, Bohemian Czech necklace. Set with fiery opal glass cabochons, a pink art glass cabochon to the centre and diamo...nd pastes. The opal glass looks wonderful when it catches the light - it really glows. These cabochons are open back set for maximum light effects; the others have closed back settings. The necklace is on a sterling silver chain (unstamped but tested). It fastens with an early push-in tube clasp. The metal work is quite tarnished commensurate with age, particularly on the reverse. You wouldn't really notice this when wearing, as the stones are the focal point. I think it just adds to its immense charm, but you may not want to gift it for this reason.
A very pretty and feminine piece.
Lovely length - not too long, not too short. Measures approximately: 17.75" or 45cm
The cabochons measure approx: 8mm
In Good Antique Condition, with wear commensurate with age.
