Fantastic vintage World War 2 era personal phpto album of black and white army soldier stationed in occupied Tokyo Japan in the 1940s...over 200 photos, some in album, some loose, some may be vintage unused postcards...includes an amazing assortment of soldiers barracks, tanks, military formations aircraft, , parades, Japanese women, Japanese young girl in traditional clothing, cherry blossoms, Buddha statue, Japanese people, farmers, buildings, etc. There's also some haunting photos o...f areas in Japan desolated by the bomb.I purchased this from an old estate in Maryland. Many of the photos have handwriting of soldier on back with personal notes amd identifiers. Photo Album itself is gorgeous...black oriental lacquer with gold detail and pearlesque shell inlay detail and black paper pages.There are several blank pages, and the loose photos could be mounted on. Album is in a protective soft case, zipper is broken but it is included to help protect the album.Condition is vintage and the album and photos show some age and wear but overall an amazing collection of military WW2 photograhs/memorabilia from a soldiers point of view who was there.Free priority shipping
