Fiddle Shell Thread Tablespoons Set Khecheong Chinese Export Silver 1840 Chinese Export silver set of 6 tablespoons in a double struck fiddle shell & thread pattern with shell & thread backstamp on the bowl. On the front of the handles, there is an engraved monogram "HJT". Made by Khecheong of Canton, China, c. 1830-1870.These solid spoons are 8 3/8" long and weigh a total 485 grams or 15.6 ozs Troy.The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishin...g.The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
