Up for bid are two complete decks of vintage 1940's pin-up playing cards. Each deck has a complete 52 cards plus 1 joker for a total of 106 cards. These 'Duratone' plastic coated playing cards were made by the Arrco Playing Card Co. of Chicago, ILL. and each card measures a standard 3.5" by 2.25". There is obvious wear on these cards, from play, but they are in good vintage condition with no tears. Even though there is no signature on the cards I believe the pin-up art work is by a fam...ous pin-up artist. I've been a collector of vintage erotica for many years. I recently accessed some of my storage, that I haven't been in in a while, and found a box of assorted vintage erotica. The majority of the items in the box (and the majority of the items I'm listing here today) all came from the estate sale of a professor who taught sexual anthropology at the University of California, Riverside in the 1970's and early 80's. Last year I sold quite a few things from the professor's collection, on eBay, but I still have some really great items including authentic vintage Tijuana Bibles, G I pocket pornos, playing cards, calendars, 8mm stag films, etc.. Today I'm listing approximately 50 different items from my private collection of vintage erotica so please check out my other eBay auctions. Also, if you are high bidder on multiple auctions, ending on the same day, I will be happy to combine shipping and try to save you some money. I normally buy and sell vintage art pottery so I'm no expert at grading vintage erotica. If I see an obvious condition issue I will point it out in the item's description but please know you that are buying these items AS-IS and I will NOT be accepting returns on the vintage erotica I'm listing today.
