A pretty antique Victorian or Edwardian 18K yellow gold violet opal cabochon 3 stone ring dating to circa 1900.This lovely solid 18K rich yellow gold ring has three beautiful round and oval white natural opal cabochons in a fabulous open gallery pronged setting. The opals are a wonderful opalescent light mauve violet blue with pink flashes and the setting widens into a fabulous floral diamond shape. The inside of the band is marked WL&Co for William Lock & Company of Birmingha...m, England (registered July 1893) and '18'. The ring tests for 18K gold.The ring is approximately a size 8 1/2.The ring measures approximately 15mm x 9mm across the face. The opals measure about 8mm and 3mm. The ring rises about 4mm above the finger and has a total weight of approximately 3.9 grams.The ring is in general very good condition with some wear to the opals.Thanks for looking and please take a look at my other items! The ring measures approximately 15mm x 9mm across the face. The opals measure about 8mm and 3mm. The ring rises about 4mm above the finger and has a total weight of approximately 3.9 grams.
