I am proud to offer this RARE SURVIVOR from the Gilded Age! This auction is for a c1890s Victorian 14k yellow gold ring with an unbelievable high relief carved rose cameo set into it. This is probably a "Grand Tour" piece and it is a miracle that the cameo is intact - with no chips or damage. The ring is a perfect size 7. It is stamped 750 inside - which suggests 18k gold - however, my jeweler and I both tested it - and came up with the same results - the se...tting is entirely 14k yellow gold. Weight is 4.7 grams. Condition is excellent!
