GREAT 1917 Hammond Multiplex Typewriter In Wood Case Got To See It

Here is a great example of the Hammond Multiplex typewriter that dates to around 1917. The serial number is 194099. As you can see from the pics, it does come in the original wood case, but sadly the top it heavily damages and the name plate is missing. As to the condition of the unit itself, there is some light movement from several of the keys, but it is not in current working order. A good cleaning, oiling and adjustments would be in order. It appears to be complete. Cosmetic... condition is overall good with only the usual tarnish on the nickeled pieces and I do see some slight rust on a ring around the shuttle area. There is also a number on the wood base in the back of 208. Will let the pics do the rest for determining the overall condition. When shipped, I will double box it so as to insure a safer shipment.
