Description - Splendid early 20th century inkwell of circular capstan form with hinged lid, leather bound underside.

Glass well lining
Original blue velvet underside lining
The inkwell is weighted.
Fully hallmarked with the anchor head for Birmingam assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, date "l" for the year 1910 and the makers marks (rubbed unident...ifiable)
Condition - Generally in good order but there is a split to the lid's edge and some knocks to the base rim (please inspect end photograph)
