This is a rare 1940s Tippco TinWind-up Military LimousineMade by Tipp&CoTCOU.S. Zone Western GermanyThey were known for excellent tinwind-up toys. I think it is in pretty amazingcondition for its age.Refer to photographs.I see some scuffing and paint loss.The lever moves to lock and unlockthe wheels.I was not sure how to make thefriction work. Measures3.5 x 1.5 x 1.25 inches. TippCotoys has an interesting history.It was foundedin 1912 in Nuremberg, named after a foun...ding director, Miss Tipp.One of the owners was Jewish andexperienced the horrors of WW2.
They persevered through many transitions.
