Up for your consideration is this Vintage 1976 General Electric 7-2959A Multiband Transistor Radio. Made in Hong Kong. Has a date code of 6637 which would equate to being manufactured on September 11, 1976. Batteries not included. Heres the scoop on it:
1) The radio works great on 6 C Batteries or with the supplied AC Cord. I was able to pick up stations loud and clear on AM and FM, got some traffic on the PS Lo and UHF bands, was picking up airport tower on PS Hi.
2) The radio i...s in very good shape, the carry handle is strong, antenna is in one piece and fully extends. All controls operation properly.
I am selling this GE 7-2959A Multiband Radio AS-IS, working on all bands and working on AC and DC operations.
