WOOD AND BRASS, WHAT A LOVELY DESIGN.THE 2 BALLAST ARE FILLED WITH SAND TO EVENLY BALANCE THE TRAYS, THIS IS AS I FOUND IT , THERE IS A BREAK IN THE WOOD BASE THAT CAN BE REPAIRED, ALL THE PARTS SEEM TO BE IN WORKING ORDER, THERE IS A END KNOB MISSING ON ONE OF THE SCREW ENDS.PLEASE CHECK ALL THE PHOTOS.THANKS FOR LOOKING! THE OVERALL SIZE OF THE SCALE IS 18 INCHES X 12-1/8 INCHES AND 7.5 INCHES WIDE.
