This book was well made and has been very well preserved. The pages are sturdy board and are bound with fabric tape. The cover is clean, made of beautifully embossed, gilded, fabric, decorated with butterflies, birds, bees and flora. The corners are bent in a little, but not frayed. It looks like there may have been a page removed or cut out, but it hasn't affected the stability of the book. There are 20 pages of die cuts and cards, all intact, some are labeled ...by hand "From Grandmamma", "From Auntie Anna Maria", "From Percey" etc. There are pages of various themes; flowers, dogs, kittens, elephants, foxes, zebras, lions, birds, cats, bicycles, hot air balloons, ships, shields, tennis (or badminton), Holidays, Christmas, food, children, soldiers, firemen.
