This is a Vintage Covered Honeycomb Bowl Hand Crafted of Queensland Timber.
The people from whom we bought the bowl were downsizing and selling items from their own estate. They told us that they purchased the bowl many years ago while traveling, from the gift shop of The Timber Museum, Daintree, Queensland, Australia. The form of the bowl when purchased, was described as a honeycomb bowl. The origin of the bowl is confirmed by the orig...inal sticker on the bottom, seen in a closeup photo.
The bowl is about 5 3/4" in maximum overall diameter and 2 3/4" tall to the lip of the bowl, and 3 5/8" tall to the top of the handle on the lid.
