This beautiful bowl was carved and bought in Hawaii in 1965. My parents purchased this when we lived in Hawaii. This Monkey Pod bowl is engraved on the bottom with the artisan's name. I am unable to make out of the last name due to the handwriting. But I am able to make out the first name Blair. Under the name is engraved Monkey Pod. There are a few tiny scratches on the bottom. But nothing major. This has been in my family for over 50 YE...ARS!! It has been used and you really can't tell. Monkey Pod wood is very durable. My parents are downsizing. The measurements are 13" diameter, 3" D.
