Thisis a great find. It is an original WWII issue Aviation Cadet visor cap. TheCadet cap was unique and different from the standard issue cap. Aviation Cadetcaps had a dark blue band and were an officer quality cap. Cadets wore thelarge 3 inch aviation wing & prop cap badge. In many cases, once the Cadetgraduated and was commissioned as anofficer, the wing & prop badge was replaced with an Officers eagle and theblue band was removed. Due to this change very few original c...adet caps turn up.This is all in original condition. Leather sweatband is clean and excellent.Leather visor is clean and free of any cracks or damage.
