This is an antique sterling silver small mirror, perhaps meant for a purse. It is interesting that when you look in it, you can see your whole face, so it allows you to get a good look at yourself! It has a very pretty, ornate handle.
It has a small amount of normal tarnish from age and has a few shallow dents/dings, not much. The glass is fine.
Size: about 4-1/4" long, and the mirror is about 1-1/2" across.
Maker's marks: "Ste...rling" with the F&B in a flag hallmark for Foster & Bailey, who worked in Rhode Island in the late 1800's.
Weight: It weighs about 17.8 grams.
Engraving: None.
