For sale is a beautiful Antique Plateau Painted Parfleche Envelope Case from circa 1890, ex- Bonhams & Butterfields San Francisco 2006.The parfleche envelope is made of one piece or rawhide, painted only on the two front flaps in bright colors in typical Plateau designs. It measures circa 25" x 12".
