DESCRIPTION OF THIS ITEM: Vintage Porcelain over Cast Iron, Hamilton Beach No. 10 Blender about 1920ish era. A metal authentic Arnold mixing cup from same era is included. Blender weighs about 12 pounds and is 17-1/2" tall. I attest that all photographs posted above are all authentic photographs of this item. (Important-- see this item’s condition in the following paragraph.) CONDITION OF THIS ITEM: This blender is structurally sound and undamaged. No cracks, or chips in the por...celain, there are some very minor scuffs and scratches to the porcelain from usage. The motor appears to be untampered with all parts being in place. The motor's exterior metal finish has discolored/tarnished from age, it is not pitted. This blender, a single speed type works fine when the cup is in place. There are no unusual sounds or smells produced from the motor. I ran it for about a minute with water in the cup as a test. The electrical cord does not look to be original, the plug itself does. It would be wise to replace the cord. The 4 rubber feet are intact and in place they are functional as is but there is some hardness to them from age. This blender due to its very good porcelain base is a good candidate for refurbishing and display. The cup, I don't know it provenance, it was with the blender. The cup is out of round, discolored and about fair condition. GENERAL CONDITION STATEMENT: I am a reseller therefore, most of the items I list are previously used and each vary in condition. I don‘t agree, I am not trying to make you feel good, I am simply selling something. I charge the actual shipping cost plus $1.50 to $2.00 when necessary to cover materials used in packaging which is included in the shipping price when you look at the item’s shipping cost. In most instances I use USPS for items under 4 pounds, and FedEx over 4 pounds.
