Vintage Binoculars by Thos. Harris and Son, Opticians, London. These are very old - apparently Thos. Harris & Son of London were in operation between 1806-1910. Not sure if they should be described as binoculars or opera glasses. They are 11cm wide and not foldable, they are 6.5cm long up to 8cm when opened. The front bit is brass but need a good clean. The name Thos. Harris London is marked into eye lens end. The lens are clear. The case for the binoculars is wel...l worn but the catch still works and the lid has the label that says" Thos. Harris & Son, Opticians, Facing The Gates Of The British Museum, London.
