I have sold fossil amber for over 10 years on eBay and sellonly authentic fossil amber, not fake or plastic.Dominican amber is known for the clarity as well as variety of its inclusions. Such things as insects, arachnids, and botanicals can be found. Do please also consider the low starting bid auctions I have listed.This is a fully polished, gem quality amber fossil from the mines in the Dominican Republic that contains a Lepidopteran (...a moth) with a fulgoroid next to it. The piece itself weighs 1.0 grams and has approximate dimensions of 1.7 cm length, 1.2 cm width, and 0.45 cm height. NOTE: 2.54 cm is approximately 1 inch. However, many amber sources or even specimens will not float in saltwater as their botanical (plant) composition as well as fossil inclusions are such that they are more dense than saltwater and so sink. I do not sell fake amber. My feedback should help demonstrate this.
