This vintage cut crystal pineapple dore bronze mounted perfume caddy was made in France between 1930 and 1940. The heavy crystal is diamond cut and the quality of the glass is immediately evident. The dore bronze fittings are immaculate. When you press the acorn finial, it opens on hinges to reveal four 3 inch perfume bottles topped by exquisite openwork wrapped stoppers. The perfume bottles are marked with an intersecting HP, indicating that they were made by Pouchet et du Courval gla...ss company of France between 1930 and 1940. The piece measures 8 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches in diameter. It is quite heavy at 2 and a half pounds. The pineapple is in very good condition. It is a stunning piece that will grab attention, and then open to reveal the treasures within.
