For sale is a nice antique French opaline glass scentbottle. The bottle stands about 7 1/4inches tall with the stopper and is 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The body is opaque, with a satinsurface. The stopper and body aredecorated with gold stripes, as is the rim. The pontil is polished, though there are some flakes at the edges. The stopper is hollow, with a hole in thetip. The tip of the stopper and base aremarked “12". Condition on the bot...tle is quite good. There is significant wear to the gilding, butthat is about it. A fine old piece ofglass!
