This heart shaped valentine has a cardboard lever in the back that makes the eyes and mouth open when you adjust it. The Valentine is probably from the 1920's or 30's as that is when my father was a child. There is nothing to indicate its age on the valentine. It does say made in Germany. It is not signed, there are no markings, or tears. The baton has been bent, see close up picture. Age appropriate coloring.
