This Alice in Wonderland cookie jar is RARE and very hard to find! As you can see from the photos, the bottom clearly states "Alice in Wonderland (copyright symbol) Walt Disney Productions." From my research I have found that it was distributed by Leeds Pottery circa 1950-1951 and it was a promotional item for the 1951 animated Alice in Wonderland movie. Leeds apparently only distributed pottery, rather than manufacture it; I don't know who made the jar. One possibility is Regal Potter...y, but that is just an educated guess.The jar measures 9.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide.There is typical age-related crazing on the inside bottom of the jar. Please look carefully at my photos as they constitute part of the description. Back in the day this jar fetched quite a lot even in this condition due to its rarity.
