Original Feedsack from the 1940's, These feedsacks have been washed, ironed, folded and put away for years. How can I tell they were washed? Well, the ends are frayed, and were left like that. This is typical feedsack fabric, a slightly heavy woven cotton, very sturdy fabric. I fou...nd these at the estate of a quilter. This one is such a typical 40's print, and the colors remind me of springtime We are looking at pink, and dark blue flowers that remind me of daisies and light blue diamonds, on a cream background. Another design that could have been used once again, for aprons, or shorts, or small dresses. And of course, all of my feedsacks could be used for quilting.
