This is a vintage Jeantet Billiard estatepipe, No. 189, made in Saint-Claude, France. These pipes are hard to come by in the U.S., but their quality and design aesthetic is on a par with Butz-Choquin. The pipe has a short Billiard shape witha concave rim, a round shank, and a saddle bit that has a very slight bent at itsend. Visual inspection shows that thepipe was only smoked 2-3 times. The pipeuses a 9 mm filter or adapter. Five (5) filters a...re included with the pipe. The pipe has been reamed, sanitized, polished, and buffed to near-newcondition. The original stem is in beautiful condition. This pipe is ready to smoke and isin superb condition. Approx.
