This is a really nice looking example of an early Nikon F SLR with the Plain Prism Finder. Unfortunately it's the Prism Finder that has the biggest problem. There is a small pattern of de-silvering that covers the entire screen. This produces a rather Hazy view. The split image rangefinder focuses fine but the image is far from Clear and B...right. It's useable.
The shutter speeds are very accurate up to a 1/60 sec. 1/125 and 1/250 not bad. 1/500 and 1/1000 slow

Since you can’t hear or see the shutter in operation. I run a general shutter speed check on the shutter so you’ll know what you are bidding on. A description of “shutter sounds right” is a very unreliable indicator of shutter accuracy.
