For sale is a truly unique & EXTREMELY RARE collectable from the 2016 NLDS between the San Francisco Giants and the 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs. This listing is for (1) MLB authenticated game-used ball- from Game 3 (10/10/2016) in San Francisco.
Game 3- this is a pitch in the dirt from Giants' reliever Derek Law to Jorge Soler, Top of the 7th inning. Soler would have a quiet series vs the Giants, but broke out as a Royal last season, ascending... to the AL's 2019 Home-Run crown (48 homers), while playing all 162 games and setting career highs in basically every offensive category.
Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game to sale to the public, and are sold by the teams. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play. Authentications can be verified through the MLB.com site.
