A VINTAGE CHERRY TOOTH PASTE, ART NOUVEAU DESIGN, SQUARE POTLID POT LID PLUS BASE POT from the early c1890s period that has been found buried in a Victorian / Edwardian rubbish tip a few years ago. The highly detailed strongly printed black transferred pot lid measures just under 6.5cm square by 4cm high when on the base pot, the lid is in EXCELLENT CONDITION being bright, white and clean with no cracks or hairlines. To be 100% accurate in my description t...here are two or three tiny nicks on the inner edge of the flange underneath that cannot be seen when the lid is in position. The base pot which is not the original but fits the lid perfectly without any movement is also in EXCELLENT CONDITION being clean with no chips, cracks or hairlines, there is some light glaze crackling inside as pictured above. I am quite happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save money on postage and shipping costs.
