Sebella, Polymagmaand polymagma plain Wyeth laboratories is an old companystarted by John Wyeth in 1860. In 1931 it became part of the American HomeProducts company, but still operated under the Wyeth name until 1987 when itbecame part of Wyeth-Ayerst. Offered for sale arethree of Wyeth’s medications for stomach and digestion. Sebella is an old combination product of aluminum hydroxide, belladonna and phenobarbital, designed for stomach distress, stomachs spasms, and as a... sedative. It is noted in the 1954 PDR and again in 1972. This sealed bottle has no expiration date and is closer to the 1954 date.Polymagma is another combination product that containedstreptomycin and Polymyxin to help stop severe diarrhea. This bottleoutdated May 30 1, 75. Polymagma Plain is Claysorb in Alumina gel and Pectin. Itwas used to control severe diarrhea.
