Vintage Sony Cassette-Corder VOR Voice Recorder TCM-459V - 1990s - Works!
This is a 1980s vintage Sony cassette-corder player recorder, model TCM-459V. Plays and records on regular compact cassette tapes. Has the VOR - Voice Operated Recording feature, but we were unable to test that. Operates off of a pair of AA batteries, or a 3V power supply plugged into the side jack. Has a built in microphone, as well as a jack to plug in a remote mic.
Cosmetically pr...etty good - some scratches, rubs, etc. Unit has been tested and does play and record pretty well. Not sure how to test the voice operated feature so we are unsure if it functions. If you plan on using it much, you will likely have to replace the belts at some point. Please check photos closely as they are an important part of the description.
