All photographic and related items in our store belonged to my dad, David L Studebaker. In 1979 he founded the Puget Sound Photographic Collectors Society and served as President for over a decade. I grew up literally surrounded by cameras, lenses, filters, tintypes, ambrotypes and Daguerreotypes that numbered in the thousands. I spent countless weekends visiting flea markets with dad and no garage sale was too far or too early. He was a very early user of EBay and bought and sold internationall...y extensively.When my dad died 20 years ago we gave everyone ( approx 350) who attended his funeral one of his cameras to help remember him and preserve interest in the history of photography. The remainder of his massive collection came to our home. We enjoy much of it and will maintain some percentage for our own children. It is however time to pass along a fair amount to the next generation of collectors.I am not an expert in the area of historical photographica but have a knowledge commensurate with my upbringing.
