Cosmetic Condition: "Good" with various light indications of use visible throughout.
Operational Condition: "Appears Good" although not fully tested, shutter appears cris...p and accurate, film counter operates correctly, focus seems fine and film advance good.Optics: "Good/Fair" with no visible fogging, fungus or lens separation. Some light cleaning marks can be observed at very close inspection but should not significantly effect performance.

Description: West-German normal lens, made for Edixa.
The Westagon Design is originated from the Zeiss Ultron and shared aswell with the Schneider-Kreuznach Xenon and the Takumar 1.8/55.
The lens is a double gauss type with 6 lenses in 5 groups. The Diaphragm features 8 aperture blades. The Aperture is an old style automatic aperture which works almost like lens shutter lenses from the Pentax 6x7 System. With preset stops the aperture is set, the aperture has to be cogged to focus opened and is then released with the auto pin or a cable release. Mount Type: M42 Screwmount
