Vintage MINUTE 16 Sub-Miniature Spy Camera by Universal
Cool collectible! Does have original box, but it is pretty beat up. No paperwork. Camera is approximately 3" long x 2" wide.
Subminiature view finder camera, I believe this was manufactured circa 1949. It uses 16mm perforated film in re-loadable cartridges. This small metal camera looks like a movie camera and has a foldable frame finder at the top. It is made with a meniscus lens that is set deep in an alumi...nium lens barrel, and has an aperture selector lever marked f6.3-8-11-16 next to it. The lever on the right-hand side is what winds the camera, The push button at the top is the release button. A manually reset frame-counter is just below the lever.
The camera has a tripod-socket on the bottom of the camera, which can also be used as a flash sync-contact.
This Universal Minute 16 camera is in very good vintage cosmetic condition.
Unit has not been tested. Due to vintage nature of this item, it is sold AS IS. Item appears in good cosmetic condition, but I am not a camera expert and am unable to fully evaluate working condition. See all photos.
