This item belonged to my stepfathers father. My stepfather was in his nineties when he died 20 years ago. His father was born in the late 1800's. My stepfather passed down to me some of his fathers tools(I have never used them and I do not think my stepfather ever used them). They have been safely stored/protected for over 50 years. This item has been in same family since original purchase(not purchased by buyers for resale)
VINTAGE STANLEY MA...IN ADJUSTABLE LEVEL VIAL AND BRASS PLATE THAT WAS USED BY MOUNTING ON ONE OF STANLEY'S LEVELS. TIME FRAME IS 1911-1920. MADE BY STANLEY IN NEW BRITAIN, CONN. USA. LEVEL MOUNTED ON BRASS PLATE, WITH SPRINGS ON EACH SIDE. THE BRASS PLATE HAS HOLES FOR MOUNTING ON LEVEL. THE GLASS PART OF LEVEL WITH BUBBLE IS PROTECTED WITH METAL COVERING THE GLASS. THIS WOLD MAKE NICE COLLECTIBLE. BUBBLE STILL WORKS. THIS WOULD BE RARE COLLECTIBLE. PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS FOR CONDITION AND ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION.
