Vintage mathews never Stall Combination Windmill Wrench. Condition is "Used".Up for auction is combination tool/wrench that is marked NEVER STALL, MATHEWS, DAYTON OHIO, PATENTED.This description is from a previous listing but was so informative that I used it for this listing:"It was known as the Windmill Tool, patented in September, 1909 by the Thomas Mfg. Co. of Dayton Ohio. It was advertised as the only tool you would need to climb up a windmill tower. It was considered to have fift...een functions, listed as follows: monkey wrench, pipe wrench, pipe pliers, staple puller, nail cutter, wire cutter, large pipe tap, small pipe tap (squares in tool would hold pipe threading taps), prybar. nail puller, two ratchet wrenches, box opener, screwdriver and pinchers. This tool is drop forged steel, approximately 9 3/4" long." The wrench is in good working condition with no cracks, breaks, or pitting.
