QUALITY, HEAVY ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER TEA POT.
Hallmarked for LONDON 1891, with makers mark for EDWARD HUTTON. ( WILLIAM HUTTON & SONS. )
Total weight of sterling silver is 625.8gms. / 20.1 troy ozs, including wooden handle, measuring 29.3cms across from end of handle to tip of spout, height 14.2cms to top of handle.
Made from a good gauge of silver in BARGE SHAPE in half fluted design standing on 4 ball feet. Tight fitting handle with flush box hinge.
N...O LEAKS, pours well, holds 1 3/4 fluid ozs. / 1 litre 50 mls.
Presentation inscription on one side reads ROYAL DRAGOONS. NEWBRIDGE 1884 & ALDERSHOT 1885 / 86.
