BIG BEEFY XLBILLIARD WITH A GREAT HAND-CARVED RAGGED RIM & GROOVED ACCENTS POP OFF THISGENTLY-USED MEDITERRANEAN BRIAR. Shank is stamped: “Freehand Carey Magic In...ch –PAT NO 3267941” with “Mediterranean Briar-Israel” on the opposite side. Thenylon stem has the engraved “Box C” mark and is clean but has not beensanitized. It fits tight to the shank and shows minor tooth wear and surfacescratches. Pipe exterior has been lightly cleaned to accurately show markingsand expose condition issues. Bowl shows nice grains under the trailing groovedcarving with little rim wear and shows a nice flame corona. It shows no chips, cracks or repairs and has been reamed. Pipe measures about 6” in overall lengthwith a 2-7/8” stem and 2-1/8” bowl height. Under magnification, it shows naturalwood color variations that are part of the original manufacture and may haveother minor imperfections from the maker or as consistent with the wear andstorage of a used, hand-carved pipe (see close-ups).PaymentInformation: Payment mustbe received within 4-Days of auction.
