This is a Lovely Refurbished Quite Lightly Smoked Italian Made Passatore 1/4 Bent Apple with Cumberland Stem that has an adaptor to make it either 9mm Filter or non Filter. There seems to be nothing known or written about Passatore Pipes (Beyond being Italian Made), surprising as this feels a good qua...lity Briar pipe, the briar a bright red/tan colour with Straight Flame and Birdseye graining, the bowl rim is crisp apart from one flaw, shank and stem have white metal rings, the stem a lovely Cumberland Fishtail which as already stated is adaptable to be either non or 9mm Filter, in great used condition. The bowl needed no reaming but was cleansed anyway, the stem and adaptor were fully sanitized to make the pipe ready to smoke as soon as you receive it, before the whole pipe was lightly polished and waxed to give the beautiful finish you can see in the photos. The pipe draws and will smoke perfectly, sits comfortably in the hand, balanced and tactile.
