You are bidding on a vintage Navajo 925 sterling silver hand tooled bear fetish cuff bracelet that is in excellent condition. The cuff is well made, durable, unique and beautiful. This is a storyteller style bracelet with squiggly lines on each side which I believe indicate walking and interspersed between that are two images bears and between the two bears are what appear to be three suns with rays. I assume that means three days and two bears and they had to walk a long way to ...get them and a long way back. That is just a guess and I’m not Native American. I do think I follow the story, but I’m not quite sure. Well I am sure of is that the bracelet really is rare, beautiful and well-made. It’s also eye-catching and flattering to the wrist when worn. The bracelet measures 5 1/2” around the interior of the cuff with an additional 1 1/2” gap x 5mm wide and it weighs 13g. The bracelet is unsigned but it is stamped “Sterling” on the inside of the cuff. It has been polished by its previous owner, so the sterling silver has an especially pretty luster and shine.
