This auction is for a very pretty antique wax doll.She is 13" tall.I am not sure whether she is German or English. She is a poured wax doll.Her eyes are sleep eyes and she has a curly mohair wig (not applied hair).She is molded very well and her nose, lips and ears are all very pretty.Her wax face has many cracks. Some of the crack lines are deep but not fragile.Please see all the photos for the details.Her arms and hands have light cracks on the wax surface also.Her tors...o is stuffed cloth. There is some sort of cryer?(not working) inside her stomach and a piece of the wire is sticking out.Her costume is all original. All the pieces are fantastic.Except the ribbons that tie the bonnet were sewed on later.Her original net socks have some holes and she has lost her shoes somewhere along the way.
She is a very pretty cabinet size doll.The stand is included.
