This auction offers an "Antique Navajo Native American 5 Yei Blanket Rug" ~ Lazy Line (see picture 2) ~ Holding spears with arrows hanging from their arms ~ Multi color and yes the yarn color does vary a bit - Warp is 3-2-2- then 1 single from the edge and throughout the weave - The wool is flat and the weave is tight for the age - Although old and tattered this would still look great hanging on the wall or even framed ~ This would be a nice addition to any collection ~
I... am selling this for a relative who doesn't know ebay or the computer very well. She's in her 80s and has collected for over 50 years; I told her no problem I could help.Size approximately: 69" x 46" Item Weight: 3.8 pounds
Condition: Bleeding in the color on parts of the piece - Tattered - Small pencil size holes probably moth damage? Not the whole thing but thought I should mention it and look closely at the pics, I might have missed a few due to the limited amount of pictures ebay allows - You can see as a whole it's pretty neat piece - Some parts of the corners and edges are fraying - Needs a cleaning and she did not want to touch the item not knowing the best way to approach such an old item. Please see pictures.
