Offered is an unusual item for the specialist collector; a 5cm claystone nodule containing a potentially almost complete, high relief example of the Eocene shore crab Falsiportunites langispinosus Collions & Jakobsen, 2003, from the Lillebaelt Clay Formation of Trelde Naes, Danmark.The upper carapace is intact and mostly exposed and parts of both pincers are in evidence. Some walking legs are evident to on the outside of the clay nodule. Further preparation is possible with mo...dern air tools, and many appendages will likely be present.No reserve for a well preserved and near-complete example of this rarely seen Danish shore crab.
